Q: What connectors do you recommend with this cable?
A: For Cat6e cable you want to use Cat6 rated connectivity. You can use Cat6 Rj45's that are rated for 24AWG and Cat6 unshielded keystone jacks.
Q: Certification marked on the jacket?
A: Yes this Cat6e riser cable has UL certification on our jacket. Happy to say that all our cables have the certification marked on the jacket.
Q: Can Cat6e cable get 10Gb?
A: Cat6e riser cable is rated for 1Gb up to 100 meters in length. Cat6 and Cat6e cable can achieve up to 10Gb at shorter lengths. This is typically anywhere from 33-55 meters. This is under ideal conditions and not guaranteed.
Q: What is Cat6e?
A: Elite cable offers Cat6 cable in two versions: Cat6 and Cat6e. Cat6e is the version with a spline. Cat6e improves on eliminating crosstalk between the pairs and providing more MHz. Cat6e cable meets ANSI/TIA-568.2-D standards.

I own a technology company on Hilton Head Island, SC. I had a situation where I was not put on the builder's schedule for rough in of data at a residential property. This situation left me scrambling to locate specific Cat6 Cable because my local provider was no longer carrying what I needed.
