What type of keystone jack do I need?
Before purchasing your keystone jack it’s important to consider what type of cable you’re planning to install and if you’re going to require shielded or unshielded keystone jacks. It’s fairly simple, if you’re going to install cat6 cable then you’d go with cat6 keystone jacks and the same for any other cable such as cat5e, etc. The same goes for shielded or unshielded keystone jacks. It is recommended that you connect shielded cables to shielded keystone jacks for maximum performance.
