A: These patch cables are not shielded. There structure is UTP which is unshielded. These are suitable for everyday use in your home or business. If you do need shielded patch cables check out our Cat6A patch cables.
Q: Any problems with bending this cable?
A: No problems, stranded conductors give you more flexibility compared to solid cable. You can expect these cables to have a bend radius of 4X the cable OD. Perfect for tight areas, around corners, networking enclosures and between panels.

A: Yes, our cat6 24awg patch cable is backwards compatible with Cat5e cables. So if you have Cat5e or Cat5 in the walls it will work to provide you a connection.
