Certifications:
Infinity Cable Products prides itself on offering the highest quality products possible. Our ultra thin 28 AWG Cat6 patch cables are tried and tested to ensure performance and compatibility.
Q: Will thin Cat6 cable fit regular keystone jacks?
A: Absolutely, our 28AWG Cat6 cable might be thinner than most cables but the rj45 plugs on the cable is a standard so it will fit any Cat6 keystone jack.
Q: Where can (CM) rated cable be installed?
A: (CM) rated cable like these slim Cat6 patch cables are for general use applications. From one side of the room to another, router to computer, modem to router, router to gaming systems, in networking enclosures and for any device that needs an ethernet connection. (CM) rated cable is not ideal for in the walls. You want Riser (CMR) cable for that.
Q: What is the difference between a stranded cable and solid?
A: Stranded cable is going to be more flexible than solid conductor cable. You want your patch cables to be stranded so they can be flexed to fit in tight areas such as behind computers, in networking enclosures and panel to panel. Solid cable will be the cable that is run over long distances. Solid cable is the cable that is run inside the walls and in risers or plenums.
Q: Can 28AWG be used for gaming consoles?
A: Absolutely, our Cat6 28awg patch cables are perfect for gaming consoles. You'll get a more reliable connection vs WIFI and with the slim size of the cables you will save room in behind your console.
