A: Some of the common connectors used for this cable are RJ45's and keystone jacks. When looking for connectors make sure to match up the correct connector type to this cable. This cable is 23AWG and unshielded.

A: Yes, this cable is marked every 2 feet with the remaining length to keep track

A: Yes, this cable will have UL and ETL listed on the jacket.
Q: This cable is built without a spline. How is it for straight runs?
A: Our Cat6 cmp cable is constructed without a spline and has more insulation around the wires than your typical Cat6 cable. This creates the separation you need between the pairs for near end crosstalk. Elite cable fills a couple needs in the industry with people preferring not to terminate with a spline. Navigating through straight runs is not a problem with this cable. If you prefer a spline look to our Cat6e cable. Cat6 plenum meets ANSI/TIA-568.2-D standards.
Q: How does the packaging come for different sizes?
A: Our 1000ft size comes in a Reelex II box and our 250ft comes plastic wrapped for shorter runs
Q: When should you use plenum cable?
A: Plenum cable is built for areas with air circulation such as drop ceilings, beneath flooring and HVAC. It has a higher fire retardant than Riser (CMR) cable which help eliminate the spread of flames and toxic smoke in air flow areas. You can also use this cable in Riser areas.
