A: Our conductor on this Cat8 cable is about 0.61 to 0.62mm. This meets the standard requirements for 22AWG

A: Elite Cat8 plenum cable is compatible with the items you listed. Cat8 cable is able to power up to 40Gb and is suitable for PoE applications: IEEE 802.3af, at, bt. Cat8 cable has a maximum channel length recommendation of 98 feet.
Q: How does this cable ship?
A: This cable ships in a 200lb tested shipping box. Strong enough to hold the cables weight during delivery.
Q: What connector can you use with this cable?
A: You want to use 22AWG connectors with this cable. We recommend to use either Cat8 field termination plugs or Cat8 keystone jacks. Your type of install will determine which connector you will need
Q: How does the packaging come for different sizes?
A: Our 1000ft size comes on a strong wooden reel and our 250ft comes plastic wrapped for shorter runs
Q: When should you use plenum cable?
A: Plenum cable is built for areas with air circulation such as drop ceilings, beneath flooring and HVAC. It has a higher fire retardant than Riser (CMR) cable which help eliminate the spread of flames and toxic smoke in air flow areas. You can also use this cable in Riser areas.
