Introducing our brand new Cat8 Riser (CMR) bulk ethernet cable. A long time in the making this high speed cable performs up to 2000 MHz and 40Gb. This cat 8 cable is double shielded for high performance in areas with EMI and signal interference. This cable is suitable for data, video, PoE and audio applications. Cat8 Riser (CMR) bulk cable is great for a lightning fast home network or data centers looking for improvement on speed and performance. Each twisted pair has an overall layer of mylar and also around all four twisted pairs is a braid for even more shielding. Get bulk lengths with 1000 feet of cable on a wooden spool for easy pulls. Cat8 riser cable can be installed up to 98 feet (30 meters). The cables jacket comes with descending length markings so you know how much cable is left on the roll. Combine this Cat 8 CMR (Riser) cable with our Cat8 field termination plugs and a Cat 8 keystone jack for a Cat8 total solution that will bring your network into the future.

A: Category 8 cable can be installed up to 98 feet (30 meters)
Q: Can you confirm the diameter of the actual copper conductor without insulation?
A: Our conductor on this Cat8 cable is about 0.61 to 0.62mm. This meets the standard requirements for 22AWG
Q: Is Cat8 Cable waterproof?
A: The jacket on this cable is CMR (Riser) rated. If installed outside it would need to be inside conduit. We do recommend using outdoor rated cable for outdoor use.
Q: How does this cable ship?
A: Our Cat8 riser cable will ship in a 200lb tested shipping box. Strong enough to hold the weight of the cable during delivery.
Q: What connectors can you use with this cable?
A: Cat8 cable is a thicker cable by design so you want to use connectors suitable for 22AWG. This ensures that the wires can fit in to the contact areas. We recommend to use Cat8 field termination plugs and Cat8 keystone jacks. Your install will determine which of these connectors you want to use.
Q: When should you used shielded cable?
